Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk

Aztec Plastic is seeking an energetic, organized Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Clerk to add to their dynamic team. Aztec Plastic is a family-owned full-service plastic injection molding company located in the West Loop of Chicago. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of shipping and receiving of materials, maintain proper documentation, and keep materials and supplies neat and organized. The candidate will also be in charge of inventory including hand counting items and operating scales. Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Outlook, Mainly Excel
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. and under
• Ability to perform hand counts for inventory and operate scales. Inventory is not scanned or barcoded.
• Ability to use a Forklift for delivery of material.
• Good mathematical skills are a must.
• Be willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all departments.
• Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel.
