At Rogan Corporation, people matter, and we are passionate and committed to what we do. Our Sales Professional will be self-motivated and be able to effectively perform Sales activities required to follow up up on leads, identify and develop new opportunities.  

Duties and Responsibilities:     

*Identify prospects in target markets and contact appropriate personnel to assess for sales using market database information.

*Become knowledgeable with respect to the Rogan product line and options and the knob/hand hardware industry in general.

*Gather information, analyze and determine needs, recommend products, provide samples and prepare proposals to gain new business. 

*Manage Leads, Accounts and Opportunities ensuring that all information is correct and up to date using the CRM and other computer and manual systems.

*Contribute to the overall success of the Sales Team by working with customer service engineering and accounting to create a team-oriented sales environment.

*Become familiar with current customers to uncover new opportunities.

*Participate in Tradeshows as requested.

*Assist with the management of leads, prospect lists and pipeline reports as directed.

*Participate in sales budget and customer forecasting. 

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

*Associates Degree in related field with a minimum 5-7years of relevant sales experience involving industrial components or engineered products.

Language Skills

*Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as reports, correspondence, multi-level instructions, procedures and requirements and the ability to converse in a way that allows effective transfer of facts, concepts and other information related to the position. 

Math Skills

*Intermediate mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with fractions, decimals, percents and all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and ratios as well use a calculator and interpret graphs and tables.

Reasoning Skills

*Ability to effectively reason through highly detailed instructions in combination with the ability to perform problem solving involving many concrete variables in situations that are somewhat standardized. 

Computer Skills

*Proficient knowledge of ERP software, word processing, spreadsheets, etc. such as MS Office Suite software, CRM software and use of the Internet

Supervision Received

*Work performed under general supervision and allowed some degree of freedom to perform tasks or assignments against well-defined criteria.

Environment and Physical Demands:

Environment

*Work is performed in an office environment. Noise level is low.

Physical Demands

*Regularly required to talk and hear; sit; use hands to handle, feel, write and use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms. No lifting required. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
