We have grown to be a major supplier of precision fabricated components serving the aerospace, avionics, communications, medical, and defense industries. Mech-Tronics has complete in-house capabilities to assist you from concept to finished product. Our technical staff is available to participate in concurrent engineering efforts. Our manufacturing services include, Precision Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining, Photo Chemical Etching, Certified Welding, Aluminum Dip Brazing and Heat Treat, Chemical Conversion Coating, Hardware Installation, Silk Screening and Painting.


Job Description:

Mech-Tronics is looking for an HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. If you are ready to lead and drive our human resources' initiatives and strategic efforts, please reach out to us. Here, the HR role is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. You will be managing activities to include, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. The person in this role is important to the success of our business. Our most important asset is our people and you'll need to ensure that our workforce is content and continues to be productive and objectives and missions are realized in our workplace. A critical aspect of this job will be to shape a positive culture and promote the company values.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Skills

  • HR Manager/HR executive with proven working experience
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • As a Federal Sub-Contractor, we require In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
