Director of Program Management

We are looking for a Director of Program Management that will report to the VP of Engineering.  This position will support sales activities to achieve revenue targets, supports assigned projects by effectively initiating, coordinating and completing all project-specific activities in a manner that will meet the corporate and customer expectations.

Job Duties and Responsibilites:

*Develop and document short and long-term Global Program Management strategy and processes
*Provide leadership to the Program Management team
*Build relationships with customer by understanding their business objectives 
*Provide leadership to the APQP team, including customers
*Work with customers to understand any quality or project-related issues and resolve appropriately
*Supports the RFP processes by engaging with the technical and business development areas of the business

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4-8 years related experience and/or training with an advanced knowledge of applicable products
• OR Master's degree with 3-5 years related experience
• 2 plus years prior experience managing mid- to large-size engineering projects
• 3 plus years experience in a supervisory position

Other Requirements:

• In-depth expertise in engineering concepts and practical application in the following engineering disciplines: sheet metal, electro-mechanical, FEA (linear and non-linear), CFD, hydraulics, mechanical design and manufacturing processes, pneumatics systems, thorough understanding of plastic properties
• Expertise and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: GD&T, mold making, mold design, injection molding, tool & die making, stamping & fabrication, cast components, supplier collaboration/PPAP, risk management (APQP/DFMEA/DVP&R)
• Exceptional skills in project management principles and time management required
• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project
• Knowledgeable with CAD development tools such as: Catia, Solidworks, Unigraphics
• Some local and long distance travel required; approximately 50%
