Director of Manufacturing Systems

We are looking for a talented Director of Manufacturing Systems that will report to the VP of Engineering.  This position will have global responsibility for Tooling (molding, stamping, forming, etc) and Manufacturing Systems planning and implementation for new product development and launch.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*Develop global strategy and execution plans while providing leadership in developing the team and supporting supplier development activities
*Develop and document global processes and procedures for all new product development
*Provide leadership to the team
*Works with customer to understand any quality or project-related issues and resolves appropriately 
*Support the RFQ/FA processes by engaging with the technical and business development areas
*Support APQP Process

Education and Experience:

*Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent

*7+ years of inspection experience to include general knowledge and understanding of inspection equipment and procedures
*Expert in GD&T; SPC and blue print reading
*Expert in CMM Programming
*Proficient in understanding of scanning and the use of the GeoMagic program a plus

Other Requirements:

*Ability to work with limited supervision
*Willing to accept responsibility and make decisions independently
*Computer literate in Microsoft Office products & ability to quickly achieve more advanced computer skills and intranet competency
*Must possess a positive spirit of cooperation and teamwork and focus on customer satisfaction through a positive and supportive approach
*Travel to customers and suppliers
